Google Labs has launched Mixboard, an experimental AI-powered tool for creating visual concepts. It helps users build design boards by using templates or text prompts to generate ideas for interiors, events, or creative collections—similar to Pinterest.

With Mixboard, you can start from text or a template, upload your own images, generate new ones with AI, and edit boards using natural language. Thanks to the new image-editing model Nano Banana, the tool allows you to adjust visuals, combine elements, and create variations using the “regenerate” and “more like this” options. The service can also generate text based on the images on your board.
While its format resembles FigJam and Adobe Firefly Boards, Google emphasizes experimenting with AI-driven creativity. The service is already available in the U.S. as a public beta.
