Imagine the situation: you launch a product, get absorbed in other work processes and leave it for a while. This is exactly what happened to my project - https://beauty-crm.pl/. I recently decided to log into the admin panel and was absolutely shocked. Inside there was an entire database of users who found the site and registered while the project was "on pause".

However, the initial delight quickly turned into a cold shower. 📉 None of these users upgraded to the Pro plan and became a paying customer. They all eventually left.

The price of one technical error ⚙️

I started analyzing why people left immediately after signing up. The cause turned out to be painfully trivial - incorrect configuration of the payment gateway. Users who liked the product and wanted to purchase the extended package were simply unable to physically make the payment.

Because of one overlooked detail at launch, I lost an entire conversion and, more importantly, the trust of my early customers. It was a very painful but valuable lesson: even the best product will not deliver results if a broken payment button stands in the way of the user.
