Today, a large-scale update of AirBrowser v1.1.6 was released, in which the browser received not only advanced multitasking tools, but also an official release in the Microsoft Store.
🎯 AirBrowser Philosophy: Speed, Privacy and Nativeness
Unlike most solutions on the market, AirBrowser is built on a native C# WPF stack and a modern Microsoft WebView2 (Chromium) engine. This gives the best of both worlds:
- ⚡ Instant cold start: Application startup takes less than 0.35 seconds.
- 🍃 Extreme memory saving: In standby mode, RAM consumption is only about 80-120 MB, which is 4-5 times less than a typical Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge profile.
- 🛡️ Absolute privacy (Zero Telemetry): the browser does not send diagnostic data or browsing history to third-party servers. Your passwords and data are stored locally using Windows DPAPI system encryption.
- 🚫 Network ad blocker:banners, trackers and pop-ups are blocked at the web request level before the page loads.

Version 1.1.6 focuses on ease of workflow organization and flexible multitasking:
1. 🏠 Spaces: Work & Personal
No more mess of work and personal tabs. The sidebar allows you to instantly switch between the Personal and Work spaces. Each space stores its tabs and sessions in isolation in one click.
2. 🪟 Dual Screen / Split View
Open two pages side by side in one window without having to open a second window and share the Windows screen. Read the documentation on the left and write the code on the right, or compare data at the same time.
3. 🔗 Arc style centered Omnibar
The address bar is now located in the center in the form of a laconic compact element (360px) displaying the domain name. No endless clutter of URLs - the interface is clean and does not distract from the content.
4. 🎬 Smart Floating Video (Picture-in-Picture)
Watch YouTube, training courses or video lectures? When you switch tabs, the video automatically splits into a floating window on top of all windows, maintaining its playback position and allowing for smooth zooming.
5. 🔒 Offline password storage
Autofill and account manager now work offline: passwords are not synchronized with the clouds, are securely encrypted with your Windows account key, and are protected from third-party processes.
